Meet the Team - Becki Morris

The most important thing to know about Becki is that she knows hockey! Having been involved in the game in a wide range of guises from team captain to technical delegate, Becki is likely to know what impacts on you and your club. More importantly she knows all about the great features of the Hardcore Hockey website and is ready to shout about them! Becki has been a volunteer in the world of hockey for a number of years and is often found on a hockey pitch with either a stick or whistle in her hand as player, coach, umpire or match official! Her many roles have included: secretary of South Yorkshire Hockey Development Group, Club Captain of Sheffield HC and Coordinator for their Clubs First Accreditation Scheme, and member of the England Hockey North Young Technical Officials Group. In addition, Becki was a member of the England Hockey National Youth Panel which drives youth hockey in England. Becki's specialist subject was club development so she certainly understands exactly what Hardcore Hockey can bring to your club! |
Becki earned her degree in Sports Development & Coaching from Sheffield Hallam University and worked in the Yorkshire region after she graduated. As a player, Becki began her hockey career at junior level in Stockport. Whilst at school, she played for Poynton HC and later for both Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Hockey Club while at University before moving across the Pennines to Didsbury Northern.
