Meet the Team - Nigel Croke

MEET THE TEAM Nigel Croke Indoor Hockey Coach |

Nigel is our resident Aussie and chief indoor hockey expert, so we nabbed him to write some articles on this high pace version of the game. A fantastic outdoor player, Nigel was signed by Bowdon Hockey Club as their overseas player in September 2010 and is currently competing in the EH premier league. As well as being a great outdoor hockey player, Nigel's pedigree as an indoor performer speaks for itself - he played and captained the New South Wales (NSW) U21 team to win the Australian Championship's in 2007 and gain 2nd place in 2008. He also represented the New South Wales Senior indoor team, winning the Australian Championships in 2008 & 2009, and represented the Australian national indoor team as a defender in both 2009 and 2010. Nigel also employs his seven years experience of the indoor game as a coach and is successfully assisting the seniors and juniors at BHC to prepare for the indoor season. |
