MEET THE TEAM

Suz Williams

Pilates Instructor & Physiotherapist

The very latest addition to our team is another specialist practitioner with the knowledge and expertise to make a difference to your hockey.

Suz Williams was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester in 2004, she is a member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and Health Professions Council (HPC) registered.

Most importantly Suz received training on teaching Pilates for injury prevention and rehabilitation by the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI).
Having worked within the NHS since  
qualifying (Royal Oldham Hospital, St.Mary's Hospital and Royal Manchester

Children's Hospital) she take a Pilates class (designed to keep NHS workers injury free) twice a week.

As with the rest of our team Suz has a passion for the game of hockey, she played at Olton and West Warwicks H.C. as a school girl and Warwickshire County from U14 upwards until Univeristy.

Suz represented the University of Manchester Ladies 1s before
joining Didsbury Northern H.C. in 2004.


Also a keen runner she has entered several well-known events including the Great North Run which she finished in a P.B. of 1hr 45mins & 39secs! 

"Pilates practice has helped me to banish a knee injury to get through the Great North Run. Including Pilates in your regular training plans will positively impact on your hockey "
